22nd Commencement Ceremony


Princeton Latin Academy graduated seven eighth-grade students on June 5, 2010. Chanel Gruenwald of Newtown, PA; Erika Hiple of Stockton, NJ; Sofia Deak of Somerset, NJ; Omar Radwan of Robbinsville, NJ; Bari Givens of Trenton, NJ; Alina Davachi of Flemington, NJ; David Smogard of Belle Mead, NJ, are the 107th, 108th, 109th, 110th, 111th, 112th and 113th graduates of the twenty-two-year-old Academy, joining a long line of dedicated students who seek a life of knowing themselves and the world around them.


Chanel Gruenwald, our vocal artist in school operas, a student of Princeton Latin Academy for nine years, has graced our stage with her innate beauty of soul and voice. She will be attending the George School in the fall.


Erika Hiple, our poet laureate, a student of Princeton Latin Academy for seven years, has written beautiful poetry filled with images and metaphors of nature, expressing a deep and mature interiority. She will be attending Solebury School in the fall.

Sofia Deak, our valedictorian, a student of Princeton Latin Academy for five years, a young lady of thespian and literary talents, waxes eloquently in algebra. She will be attending Pingry School in the fall. Read her Valedictorian speech here.

Omar Radwan, our humorous but determined student of Princeton Latin Academy for four years, has demonstrated through his candid graduation speech his great academic and rhetorical strides. He will be attending Princeton Science Academy in the fall.

Bari Givens, our charming and entertaining starlet, a student of Princeton Latin Academy for three years, has demonstrated her blossoming acting and singing skills with her role in this year’s opera. She will be attending Princeton Science Academy in the fall.

Alina Davachi, our vivacious and enthusiastic friend of everyone, a student of Princeton Latin Academy for one year, has made great strides in her linguistic and mathematical development by doing outstanding work in Latin and algebra. She will be attending Hunterdon Central High in the fall.

David Smogard, our lone male student in the eighth grade, with us for one year, has turned around in attitude toward learning, demonstrating his innate intelligence. He will be attending Montgomery High in the fall.
